We are very proud to announce the official launch of the new LIFE REEForest project (Project 101074309 – LIFE21- NAT-IT), which aims to restore populations of Cystoseira species in four marine protected areas.
The project, which has very ambitious goals, will last for years years and bring together many renowned research institution such as Trieste, Genova and Parthenope Universities, Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), Cilento National Park, Sinis and Bergeggi Marine Protected Areas in Italy plus Gyaros Island Marine Reserve in Greece and Shoreline Coo.op.
The kick-off meeting of REEForest took place in hybrid way at the Italian ISPRA headquarters in Rome. A new adventure is about to begin!
