The Department of Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Genoa organised an internship on the construction of the discs on which Cystoseira will grow.

For two intense and also somewhat chaotic days, some students from the faculty of the capital of the Liguria region had the opportunity to try their hand at the construction of the clay supports needed to grow algae in the laboratory.

Creativity and passion were the stars of this internship aimed at introducing young biologists to the REEForest project.

The University of Genoa is in fact a partner in the project, and in particular will be involved in the restoration of the Cystoseira in the Protected Marine Area of Bergeggi.

The clay discs are ready, see you at the next workshop!
